Alweer 3 weken geleden dat we in Italië arriveerden. De tijd gaat snel en traag tegelijk!
Olga heeft sinds een tijdje haar strakke sportbody geruild voor een lichaam met iets meer reserve. In oktober stond ze heel scherp, dat gaf haar meer snelheid en maakte haar meer eager voor de sport. Maar een lichaam dat zich moet voorbereiden op puppy’s heeft andere noden. Daarom begonnen we haar rond die tijd een klein beetje bij te voeren.
Mensen die haar al even niet gezien hebben vinden dan ook dat ze al dik geworden is, maar dat is alleen maar het gevolg van deze veranderde lichaamsconditie en een wintervachtje.
Ja, we zien nu eenmaal soms dingen die we willen zien… En dat is nu net het grappige in deze tijd. Je ziet veranderingen in haar gedragingen, maar ja… Zijn dat echt veranderingen of is dat gewoon iets wat ons anders niet opvalt?
Toch ben ik ervan overtuigd dat ze anders is. Of liever net niet…
Normaal wordt onze lieve, aanhankelijke dame een klein beetje depri in de weken na haar loopsheid. Ze zondert zich iets meer af, komt minder dan gewoonlijk om aandacht vragen en ze vindt dan vooral haar 2 zonen veel te druk, ze vermijdt hen dan liever. Ze is wat stiller en wat minder blij en ook in het werken heeft ze dan een dipje.
Dit keer is ze net supervrolijk en aanwezig, ze komt nog meer om aandacht vragen dan normaal, ze gaat nog meer fletsen en flemen bij iedereen. Ze is superblij en de jongens storen haar niet. Op de fotoshoot van vorige week kwam ze zich zelfs steeds opdringen om mee op de foto te mogen. Als we samen wat gaan trainen is ze ook nog steeds haar blije en gemotiveerde zelve.
Zou het?
Nog even geduld…
Already 3 weeks since we arrived in Italy. Time goes fast and slow at the same time!
Olga has traded her tight sport body for one with a little more reserve for a while now. In October she was very tight, which gave her more speed and made her more eager for the sport. But a body that has to prepare for puppies has different needs. That’s why we started feeding her a little bit extra around that time.
People who haven’t seen her for a while think she has grown already, but that is just the result of this changed body condition and a winter coat.
Yes, sometimes we see things we want to see… And that’s just the funny thing in this time frame. You see changes in her behavior, but yes…. Are these real changes or is it just something we wouldn’t notice otherwise?
Still, I am positive that she is different. Or better just not…
Normally our sweet, affectionate lady gets a little depressed in the weeks after her season. She withdraws a bit more, comes less than usual to look for attention and she especially finds her 2 boys to be too busy, she prefers to avoid them. She is a bit more quiet and less happy and when working she has a bit of a dip.
But this time she is super happy and present, she asks for attention even more than normal, she flatters more to everybody. She is super happy and the boys don’t mind her. At the photoshoot last week she even insisted on being photographed. When we go training she is still her happy and motivated self.
Could it be?
Just a little more patience…
